Standley Feed and Seed sponsors the Domestic Pet Show and Chicken Scramble April 1st at the Madison County Fairgrounds at 4:30PM.
The Domestic Pet Show encourages children to bring their pets, showcase them and receive a ribbon for participation.
The Chicken Scramble takes place at the Madison County Fair Grounds and is open to children ages 0-8. Children gather in a center of haystacks and grab as many baby chicks as they can. After the scramble, children receive 2 free chicks, free food and a workshop on how to care for their chicks.
This event helps teach children responsibility and also showmanship of animals. Standley Feed and Seed is proud to sponsor these events.
