Ranch House® Stock Rock Salt
United Salt’s stock rock salt is a consistent product conveniently available from the Hockley salt mine. The product is carefully screened and graded to recover the proper size for animal feeding. The stock gradation is virtually dust free. Since it is non-caking and free- flowing, no additives are required or used.
Features
USC rock salt continues to be mined from natural salt deposits 1,500 feet below the earth's surface, as it has since the late 1920's. During processing, the salt is crushed and screened to the specific gradation suited for animal feed. The salt is stock piled below ground. When required for packaging, the salt is hoisted to the surface where the product is warehoused for shipment.
