Woman harvesting tomatoesHave you planned your fall garden yet? It’s that time again! Here are some tips for your Fall garden, plants and trees:

  • If you plant tomatoes, try to utilize varieties that will mature and give you red, juicy tomatoes before the first frost. (average first frost date is Nov. 15-20)
  • Don’t forget broccoli, cauliflower, turnips, mustard, spinach, lettuce, and cabbage to help round out your fall garden.
  • With the recent heat, remember to water trees, shrubs and roses.
  • Mums and pansies can help brighten your landscaping and flowerbeds and should be arriving at Standley Feed and Seed within the next 30-45 days!
