Feeding

Bulls: Feed 1% to 1.5% of body weight to develop bulls on forage. To condition bulls, feed 0.5% to 1.0% of body weight at least 120 to 150 days before breeding season.
Heifer Development and Stocker Cattle: After weaning, feed along with unlimited quantities of forage. Feeding rates vary according to quality of forage and desired gain: on lush forage feed 0.25% to 0.50% body weight; on transitional forage feed 0.75% to 1.0% body weight and on mature forage feed 1.0% to 1.5% body weight.
Creep Feed: Feed free-choice to suckling calves along with unlimited quantities of forage. Do not use this product as a weaning ration. Keep constant supply of supplement available to calves, and locate feeders near loafing areas. Adjust self-feeder to minimize quantity of feed accumulating in trough. If hand fed, offer 1% body weight daily.
